Stacey Wilson Hunt is an award-winning journalist, event host and producer who currently covers Hollywood for a myriad outlets, including Fortune magazine.
She recently served as the Los Angeles-based Hollywood Editor for New York and Vulture, and before that spent more than five years at The Hollywood Reporter as the Awards and Special Projects Editor. While at THR, she served as host and producer of the Emmy-nominated SundanceTV interview series, Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter. Wilson Hunt also spent six years as a correspondent for People magazine covering breaking news and human interest stories. Her writing has appeared in Playboy, Fortune, The New York Times, New York magazine, Vulture, Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, People, TV Guide, The Oregonian, Portland Monthly magazine, and others.
She has earned numerous commendations for her editorial and producing work including FOLIO, Society of Professional Journalists and Los Angeles Press Club awards. A native of Portland, Oregon, Wilson Hunt has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and B.A. in Professional Writing and Spanish from the University of Puget Sound. She currently lives down the hill from the Hollywood sign with her Texas-screenwriter husband Kris and a Shih-Tzu named Buddy.
